About Us
We met on a snowy night in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood at one of our favorite restaurants, Pilsen Yards. What started as a simple dinner turned into hours of conversation that lasted until sunrise. From the very beginning, it felt like there was no going back.
Since that night, we’ve built a life together that we are incredibly proud of. It’s a life full of travel, early mornings, quiet nights at home cooking dinner, and time spent with our dog Manolo and the people we care about most. We’ve learned to keep growing together, supporting each other through life’s ups and downs, and finding meaning in the small, everyday moments that make life so special.
Alex proposed in Madrid at the same hotel where we had stayed after Patricia’s graduation. It had already become one of our favorite places in the world, and somehow that night made it even more meaningful. The proposal happened entirely in Spanish—which turned out to be harder than expected with tears involved—and even though Patricia had a feeling it was coming, Alex still managed to pull off the surprise. To top it all off, the Eagles beat the Cowboys that same night, which felt like a good sign for what’s ahead.
When it came time to plan our wedding, we knew right away that we wanted more than just one night. We wanted to create time to really be present with the people who have shaped our lives. Mexico, as Patricia’s birthplace and a place that has come to mean so much to both of us, felt like the perfect setting to do just that.
We are so excited for the time we’ll get to spend together—whether that’s celebrating in person or knowing you’re with us in spirit. We are grateful for all the love and support we’ve received, and we can’t wait to start this next chapter with all of you by our side.

Can I bring a guest or date? If your text invitation included the name of a significant other or guest, they are absolutely welcome! Due to the limited capacity of the venues we selected at the resort, we have based our guest list on those initial invitations. We truly appreciate your understanding.
Are children welcome? We love your children, but the resort does not accommodate guests under age 18.
What to wear? Think modern destination chic—a look that balances vibrancy with sophistication. We’re embracing rich colors, elevated fabrics, and joyful elegance.
We encourage you to wear bold, statement-making gowns and suits in fabrics like silk, chiffon, and linen blends. Picture vibrant hues inspired by sunsets, lush gardens, and the spirit of celebration.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors? Our afternoon ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, while the reception will take place indoors.
Are there any colors we should avoid? To honor tradition, we kindly ask that you avoid wearing white, cream, or ivory—colors typically reserved for the bride—as well as black, which has been reserved for specific friends and family members.
Where and by when should I RSVP? Please visit the “RSVP” tab on our wedding website to respond. We kindly ask that all RSVPs be submitted by January 31st, 2026.
Are there additional activities before or after the wedding? The bride and groom will be staying at the resort from June 13th to June 21st. If you would like to join us for pre- or post-wedding fun at the resort, feel free to extend your stay beyond the resort’s three-night minimum. We would love to spend more time with you!
